An annual festival to express your love

Valentine's Day is all about celebrating love, affection, admiration, and deep emotional connections to your partners, family, and friends. Every year in February 14, people celebrate this day by giving flowers, chocolates, sending messages and a lot more that may symbolize or express their love for someone.

Did you know that only 39% Pinoys were celebrating valentine's day according to the latest survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS). Valentine's Day is also called "Araw ng mga Puso" in the Philippines or simply translated to "Heart's Day". This day is the most common wedding anniversary in this country and couples may choose to get married on Valentine's Day to associate the start of their marriage with a special date.

Some Filipinos bring their dates in luxurious places and mostly men are always the ones who take responsibility on this special day. Men tend to be the ones who are busiest in preparing the gifts, foods, and dates just to make their special someone happy.

This day can be celebrated in many ways but the Philippines has its own unique culture, that's why some people in other countries don't care or it was just a normal day for them. Lastly, Valentine's Day is considered as one of the most commercialized holidays in this country and people do everything just to express their l
